I Rewrote My Wellness Story, Now I Help Other
Gen X Women Write Theirs.
You haven't lost until you stop trying...
...and trust me, I've tried ALOT of things. I’ve wrestled with my weight and my wellbeing for most of my life. The photo on the left?
Yeah… that was captured by my doorbell camera because I wouldn’t let an actual human take my picture. When it popped up on my video feed, it was my OMG moment. Doorbell cams don’t lie.
I'm not saying my journey since then has been linear; it absolutely has not. I've stumbled, I've fallen, I've crashed. But I didn't stop. I picked myself up and moved forward, finding lifestyle changes that worked for me. Because quitting wasn’t an option — not for me, not for the life I wanted.
What finally made the difference wasn’t another diet or another round of self-criticism. It was shifting to a whole-life approach:
✔ eating in a way that actually fuels me
✔ moving in ways my body enjoys (and forgives)
✔ sleeping like someone who values her brain
✔ handling stress like a grown woman who has survived the entire 90s.
The Upward Spiral
The Upward Spiral is what happens when your body and brain start working with you instead of against you.
Movement boosts energy and mood. Better energy helps you prep a nourishing meal. Eating well stabilizes your blood sugar, which improves focus and motivation. Improved motivation helps you show up for movement again.
This reinforcing loop isn’t magic—it’s biology, habits, and self-trust stacking in your favor. Small choices compound into big change.

What IS a Wellness Coach, anyway?
A wellness coach helps you bridge the gap between what you want to do for your health and what you’re actually able to do day-to-day.
Think of it as combining habit science, behavior change psychology, and real-life practicality. I help you understand why certain strategies work, how your body responds to movement, stress, sleep, and nutrition—and how to use that information to build habits that fit your life, not fight it.
Together, we create sustainable routines that feel doable, rooted in evidence, and tailored to your unique goals and season of life.
